Admiral Black was the commander of an Imperial assault fleet. Black was assassinated by Jonathan Archer over a command dispute. (IAMD)

Career Edit

In 2151, Admiral Black personally "recommended" several members of the ISS Enterprise's crew, including her chief engineer, Charles Tucker.

In 2155, he lead his assault fleet into battle against a fleet of Rebel ship's. The battle did not proceed well, with all but Black's flagship, the ISS Avenger, being destroyed. Whilst the Avenger was under heavy assault, the USS Defiant under command of Jonathan Archer, joined the battle, and proceeded to destroy all but one of the Rebel ship's. Under Black's orders, Avenger and Defiant set course for Earth.

En route, Black transported over to Defiant to inspect the latest weapon of the Empire. Whilst there, Black and Archer proceeded to get into a disagreement, when Black declined to give Archer a battlefield promotion and command of Defiant. This disagreement ended with Archer vaporizing Black with a phaser Archer had found on board. (IAMD)
